Raising Eric

he took a nasty fall yesterday, he fell off the couch and into the coffee table, he hit the edge, luckily it is a rounded edge and not a pointed one. we rushed him to the doctor's office. the doctor put some salve on the wound and looked him over good. he should recover just fine.

he had his first full blown tantrum a few days ago. after his bath we normally have him put his toys away. he didn't want anything to do with it. mommy had to put him in his time-out chair while she picked up most of his toys, he was hollering the whole time. daddy came out to help and we sat with him for about 15 minutes with him sobing the whole time, trying to get him to put away the last five lego blocks. he was just refusing to pick them up even when enticing him with his milk. mommy used his hand to grab the first block and move it to the container, then a second, then he finally put the rest away like there was nothing to it. he can be quite stubborn at times...
